Use of SAFE funds
The primary use of funds from this $500k SAFE round would be to bring one cofounder and CTO on right away, to lead the sales and development efforts respectively. We’re putting the urgency of development on equal footing as sales, since the market is still very young and there are near-term achievable product wins.
Overall, for a $500k SAFE round:
- 6% will be allocated to immediately to deploy dev shop resources for our ongoing UI/UX overhaul, which will bring Champly from MVP to an enterprise-ready solution.
- 44% is allocated to bringing one cofounder in immediately and then the second in April, in order to bring Champly to market. This includes salary and benefits.
- 50% is allocated to bringing on a full time CTO, and equipping them with 200 hours of dev shop resources per month. With these resources, we aim to improve Champly with integrations to key systems like Salesforce and Hubspot, and begin to incorporate AI for site creation.
